TGT Arts:

Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Commerce or a Shastri (Sanskrit) Degree from a recognized University with 02 School subjects (English, Odia, Hindi, Sanskrit, History, Geography, Economics, Political Science, Indian Economy, Landmarks in Indian History, Indian Geography, Indian Polity as Pass/Honours/Elective/Optional/Compulsory subject) from a recognized University having 50% marks in aggregate and Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.)/3 years Integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. from an NCTE recognized institution.

OR

4 years Integrated B.A. B.Ed. from an NCTE recognized institution with 02 School subjects (English, Odia, Hindi, Sanskrit, History, Geography, Economics, Political Science, Indian Economy, Landmarks in Indian History, Indian Geography, Indian Polity as Pass/Honours/Elective/Optional/Compulsory subject) from a recognized University having 50% marks in aggregate.

TGT Science:

Bachelor’s Degree in Science/B.Tech/B.E. with 02 School subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics for TGT Science (PCM), Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Biology, Biotechnology for TGT Science (CBZ) as Pass/Honours/Elective/Optional/Compulsory subject) from a recognized University having 50% marks in aggregate and Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.)/03 years Integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. from an NCTE recognized institution.

OR

4 years Integrated B.Sc. B.Ed. from an NCTE recognized institution with 02 School subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics for TGT Science (PCM), Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Biology, Biotechnology for TGT Science (CBZ) as Pass/Honours/Elective/Optional/Compulsory subject) from a recognized University having 50% marks in aggregate.

Hindi Teacher

Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University with Hindi as one of the Elective/ Optional/ Honours/ Pass subjects from a recognized University with minimum 50% marks in aggregate.

And

One of the following Training Qualification:

  • Hindi Shikshan Parangat from from kendriya hindi sansthan, Agra.
  • B.H.Ed. a course prescribed by NCTE from a recognized University/ Institute.
  • B.Ed. in Hindi, a course prescribed by NCTE, from Dakshin Bharat Hindi Prachar Sabha, Madras.

OR

Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate with one of the following qualifications:

  • Rastrabhasa Ratna from Rastrabhasa Prachar Samiti, Wardha.
  • Shastri (Hindi) from Odisha Rastrabhasa Parishad, Puri.
  • Snataka (Acquired by June 2005, the date up to which the temporary recognition has been granted) from Hindi Shiksha Samiti, Odisha, Cuttack.

AND

One of the following Training qualifications:

  • Hindi Shikshan Parangat from Kendriya Hindi Sansthan, Agra.
  • B.Ed., a course prescribed by NCTE from a recognized University/Institution.
  • B.Ed. in Hindi, a course prescribed by NCTE, from Dakshin Bharat Hindi Prachar Sabha, Madras.

Sanskrit Teacher:

Bachelor’s Degree with Sanskrit as one of the Elective/Optional/Honours/Pass subjects from a recognized University with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and Shiksha Shastri (Sanskrit) a course prescribed by NCTE from a recognized University / Institution.

OR

Shastri (Sanskrit) with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized University and Shiksha Shastri (Sanskrit) a course prescribed by NCTE from a recognized University/Institution.

Physical Education Teacher:

+2 or its equivalent examination from a recognized institution with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and C.P.Ed./B.P.Ed./M.P.Ed. from a recognized Board/University.

Selection Process

The selection process will be done one career weightage, Teaching experience and performance in the interview. The division of marks is as follows:

How to Apply?

Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria are invited to submit their completed application forms along with the necessary supporting documents. The application should be sent by registered or speed post to the following address: “District Welfare Officer, Keonjhar, AT-Collectorate Campus, PO-Keonjhargarh, District-Keonjhar, Odisha – 758001.” All applications must be received no later than 5:00 PM on 06/09/2024.

The following documents need to be attached along with the application form:

  • Self attested photocopy of all the educational qualification certificate.
  • Self-attested photocopies of B.Ed./Training certificates.
  • Candidates who have passed B.Ed./Training from outside Odisha have to submit a self-attested photocopy of NCTE/Equivalency approval.
  • Self-attested photocopies of the OSSTET pass certificate (if available).
  • Self-attested photocopies of Teaching Experience certificate/Service Certificate (if any).
  • 02 recent colour passport-size photos having candidates’ signatures on the front side out of which one has to paste in the appropriate space provided in the application form and another should be firmly tagged with the application form.
